Note:

2) to delete the record of another Windows from boot manager:

When you try to open more than 15 items at once using menu right-click in Windows Explorer, click the Open menu disappears. If you want to open more items simultaneously, you can do this by adding the desired program in the context menu “Send to”.
To add your program to the context menu “Send to”. Do the following:

1) open the folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo.
You can also open this folder:
1.1) in Windows Explorer address bar, type shell:SendTo and hit Enter.
1.2) press Win + R, type shell:SendTo and hit Enter.
2) in the folder, create a shortcut to the programs you need:
2.1) use the menu with the right mouse button. New->Shortcut->enter the location of the program->type a name for this shortcut
2.2) hold down Alt and copy your program in the above folder and rename the shortcut.

Copy the desired shortcut in folder C:\Users\User_name\Local AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts
where User_name is your account name (for example: administrator).

You can replace standard folder from the dialog open/save files to specified by you.

1) open the Start menu
2) in the search box type gpedit.msc
3) open User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\Common open file dialog
4) double-click the Items displayed in Places Bar
5) click on Enable
6) Enter in Places to display folder paths and then click OK.
To add a folder to the Desktop type: shell:desktop

If you periodically, at least once a week, do check the file system and an empty disk space using the CHKDSK utility, then perhaps you are interested in changing the settings of self-healing. This change will allow you to improve the performance of your operating system, by releasing the resources consumed by this mode.

1) run command prompt (Win + R-> cmd-> OK)
1.1) click Start and type cmd in the search string
1.2) right-click the found file and select “Run as Administrator”
2) check the status of the self-healing function by typing at the command prompt and press Enter:

fsutil repair query drive_letter

Where drive_letter is the letter assigned to the hard drive or one of its sections. For Example:

fsutil repair query c:

3) turn on the system display the BSOD (blue screen of death) when it detects a CHKDSK error. This action is necessary to reach the possibility of regime change samovostanovleniâ. Type the following at the command prompt and press Enter:

fsutil behavior set BugcheckOnCorrupt 1

4) reboot the computer.
5) then start a command prompt as administrator.

You can disable both the individual drives self-healing and all at once by repeating the above steps for each one. This solution works only with drives formatted in NTFS.

Attention. Side effect during selective disabling verification (on separate disks) may be triggering of protective antivirus software.

In previous versions of Windows standard startup sound was in a folder C:\Windows\Media.
Windows 7 standard startup sound file library: imageres.dll, located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder
To edit this file, use the programs: Restorator or PE Explorer.
Before you edit the file make sure you have emptied the folder C:\Windows\rescache

In PE Explorer:

1) open the file imageres.dll
2) press Ctrl + R or go to menu View-> Resources
3) open WAVE, right click on the location 5080, and then click Edit Resource
4) in the window that opens, press Ctrl + O or on a folder icon with the pointer.
5) select sound in WAV format to replace, then click OK and then Yes

In Restorator:

1) open the file imageres.dll
2) open WAVE and drag a resource 5080 what you want to replace the melody start.
3) save your changes by pressing Ctrl + S

If you use a flash drive to speed up system (ReadyBoost) or you have installed the reader you use to read only one type of card, then you may want to hide your drives from your Computer.

1) click the Start menu, type in the Search bar gpedit.msc and press Enter. (Win + R-> gpedit.msc)
2) navigate to left User configuration\Administrative templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer
3) double-click on to Hide these specified drives in My Computer.
4) click on Enable.
5) in the drop-down list select one of the combinations and click OK.
